The event encouraged students and staff to wear pink to show their support for those affected by breast cancer and to raise awareness about the importance of early detection, education, and research. More than just a day to wear pink, the event was an opportunity for the Mahopac Middle School community to demonstrate compassion, unity, and school spirit.
Members of the Mahopac Teachers’ Association (MTA) joined students in showing their support, reflecting the union’s commitment not only to education but also to the well-being of the school community.
Through this student-led initiative, Student Government reminded everyone that coming together for a common cause can make a meaningful difference.
A big thank-you to Student Government, MTA members, and everyone who participated in making Pink Out Day a success!
